Dear House at Fic Corner Assignment Writer,

I wanted to thank you in advance for writing me my gift. I will be appreciative of anything you produce for me. The suggestions and prompts in this letter are just guidelines, with the exception of my hard DNW found in the Glee Novelization category.

I look for the following in my fanworks: covert and overt affection; causal touching; slice of life; curtain fic; alternative universes; first times; friends to lovers; kissing and other displays of affection; the sharing an [insert sleeping space here] trope; sexual tension; strong friendships; third person POV; x number of things plus one; what could have been; missing scenes; hurt/comfort; angst; coming to understandings; families of choice; rescuing; pregnancy/kid fic; musical numbers; genderswap; romance; gen; light comedy; porn with or without plot

I do not want the following in my fanworks: A/O/B; blood or explicitly described injury; watersports and scat; bloodplay; excessive violence; animal abuse/injury/death

Baby Sitters Club
 
I am absolutely fine with receiving fic about any of the nominated BSC characters. I love all of them and fic about any of them is 100% acceptable. 

I do ship Charlie/Mary Anne, however I request that Mary Anne be of at least legal age if there is going to be romance. 

Mary Anne is such an interesting character, I would like to see fic that explores her relationships with Verna and trying to navigate having a mother figure in Sharon when Mary Anne has never really had a mother in her life. 

I would like to see more Charlie fic in general, whether it is canon, or pre-canon, or post canon. Perhaps a fic exploring what happens to the relationship between Charlie and Patrick if he ends up going to college in California? 

I would love to read Richard Spier and Elizabeth Thomas Brewer fic that is set on either Bradford Court or after the two have married Sharon and Watson - I think there is a great potential friendship there that canon did not tap into to the fullest extent. 

I enjoy reading Richard Spier/Sharon Spier fan fiction, however I am equally pleased with character pieces focusing on one or the other. They have a very interesting background that was hinted at but not fully explored in the canon and I believe that it would be interesting to explore in the realm of fan fiction. 


Sweet Valley Series

I do not consider SVC and TSL to be canon, I do not want fic that takes place around them (with the exception of fix-it-fic), thank you in advance for this consideration. 

Feel free to write anything about any of the nominated characters.

Glee Novelizations

I really do not want Noah Puckerman in my fan fictions.  I cannot separate Mark Salling's actions from his character at this point and I am not sure if I will ever be able to.

I know that getting fiction written for this series is a long shot, given its relative rarity and its parent show no longer being produced, but I would love literally anything written about the characters I nominated. I thought the books were sweet. 


Ramona Series

Feel free to write anything you want! I loved Ramona and was so excited that it was nominated.
