Dear Creator:

I want to thank you in advance for whatever you choose to gift me with, whether it be written or art, and I advise you to utilize this letter as a guideline rather than a decree. I will of course appreciate any and every gift that I receive during this challenge. This is my first year as a participant in the challenge, and I am really excited to take part.

General Wants and Do Not Wants

I look for the following in my fanworks: covert and overt affection; causal touching; slice of life; curtain fic; alternative universes; first times; friends to lovers; kissing and other displays of affection; the sharing an [insert sleeping space here] trope; sexual tension; strong friendships; third person POV; x number of things plus one; what could have been; missing scenes; hurt/comfort; angst; coming to understandings; families of choice; rescuing; pregnancy/kid fic; musical numbers; genderswap; romance; gen; light comedy; porn with or without plot

I do not want the following in my fanworks: A/O/B; blood or explicitly described injury; watersports and scat; bloodplay; excessive violence; animal abuse/injury/death

Everybody Loves Raymond

I requested any pairing because this show's soul is in the family and group dynamics, and I feel like the best fanworks about the series really showcase and develop that. I am genuinely willing to read or admire fan fiction or fan art that accompanies any point in canon. And you needn't limit yourself to the nine seasons either. Feel free to explore what happened before the show started, as well as what happened after the final episode. I am really just interested in getting some more fan activity for my fandom of one.

California Diaries

The California Diaries are my exception to my adoration and preference for third-person fic. I am not adverse to fanfiction about the CDs being written in their traditional second person, if one were to desire. It was disappointing to me when Scholastic made the decision to end this series along with the parent one, when I felt that California Diaries had much more to tell us. So tell me. What happened after the series ended? Where are the characters now? I am also interested in pre-series fanfic for the CD exclusive characters such as Amalia and Ducky. And of course I am always interested in fleshing out canon scenes.

Sweet Valley

I will gladly accept any art or fic for any of these pairings and characters. I am familiar with the entirety of the Sweet Valley Canon. However, I kindly ask that you focus your efforts on high school aged and above. You are welcomed to include canonical information from Sweet Valley Kids, Twins and Friends, the Unicorn Club, Team Sweet Valley, and Junior High.

Please do not include Sweet Valley Confidential. I do not consider that or The Sweet Life to be canon and I do not want fanworks from them.

The Baby Sitters Club

Specific tropes for this fandom: against all odds; amicably divorced; accidental hero; annoying sibling; celebratory kiss; character in distress; fake relationship; fork in the road; meet the relatives


[Sam Thomas/Stacey McGill] Fanworks based either in canon or post-canon are fine for this pairing. Whether it is the tentative relationship that the two shared in the series or a piece taking place in high school or college (or beyond), I am a fan of any piece that features Sam/Stacey. Does Stacey join the Math Club when she gets to high school? Does Sam help comfort Stacey during a time of illness? Are they friends that are each others go to 'emergency' date? Friendship fic with these two is always welcomed, if so desired.

[Dee Pike/John Pike] I would love fanworks for this pairing in any capacity. I believe that the Pikes are the most sincerely in love couple in the BSC series (they would have to be to have all those kids!). So surprise me! Write about the Pikes pre-children; during the start of their family; or after the kids have left the nest? How do Dee and John deal with canonical events such as Mallory wanting to attend boarding school or John losing his job? How did they meet and start dating?

[Sharon Spier/Richard Spier] Maybe a story about Richard and Sharon dating during high school? How did they meet? Exploring their decision to date each other again? How do they deal with the aftermath of the fire? Does Richard ever actually get along with Sharon's parents? The difficulties of blending a family when two of the children do not live there full time? What happens when Dawn and/or Jeff moves back to Stoneybrook?

[Mary Anne Spier/Charlie Thomas] FOR SHIPPING PURPOSES HAVE MARY ANNE BE OF LEGAL AGE. How do Mary Anne and Charlie start their relationship? Friendship fic between the two is welcomed as well. How does Kristy and the other Thomases react to their relationship? Do they not see each other for a period of time and start a relationship decades into the future?

[Mary Anne Spier/Charlie Thomas & Richard Spier & Elizabeth Thomas] Mary Anne and Charlie dating has to effect their relationships with their parents in some way. Please explore how either Richard or Elizabeth reacts to the news that their children are dating. Feel free to include one, the other, or both. You may also include Watson or Sharon if you so desire in addition to the requested characters.

[Mary Anne Spier/Charlie Thomas & Patrick Thomas] How does Patrick find out that Mary Anne/Charlie are dating? Mary Anne offering Charlie comfort when Patrick is Patrick yet again? Patrick and Charlie do not have a good relationship, but Patrick is oblivious to this, so this conflict could be interesting to explore. Do they see Patrick while they are out in California, for example?

[Laine Cummings & Stacey McGill] Pre-series; canon; and post series fanworks are all acceptable. Do Stacey and Laine ever come to an understanding about their differences? Does Stacey go to high school in New York City and have to be Laine's classmate again? College? Can be bittersweet. I just want a piece where the two of them interact again with some maturity and find some attempt at common ground.

[Mary Anne Spier & Stacey McGill] Stacey and Mary Anne both have overprotective parents, maybe they can bond over that? A trip to New York City? Remaining friends once the club has dissolved in spite of their difference in high school cliques? A double date?

[Mallory Pike & Stacey McGill] Mallory seems to idolize Stacey, so I would love a fic where she starts to realize that Stacey is human just like her. Or Stacey and Mallory having some girl time to get her away from her crazy house? Does Stacey visit Mallory at boarding school?

[Dawn Schafer & Kristy Thomas] Bonding over being across the country from their dads; trying to get along for Mary Anne's sake; meeting up in California (maybe when Kristy tries to visit her dad?); club meetings; sleepovers; vegetarian vs meat; anything that shows Kristy and Dawn attempting a friendship despite their differences.

[Mary Anne Spier & Sharon Schafer] Stepmother-stepdaughter bonding; the aftermath of the fire; you're not my mother!; missing Dawn and Jeff; Mary Anne going to Sharon for advice; missing canon scenes where Sharon and Mary Anne adapt to being a family; meeting Mary Anne's significant other; future fic and canon fic are equally welcome.

[Mary Anne Spier & Alma Spier] What would have happened if Alma had lived? Explore this please. Note that the canonical death can still occur, just later than it did in canon.
